Mark Rupnik
CEO
Mark is a proven smart grid technology executive having more than 30 years of experience in the energy and utility industry. Mark joined Connected Energy in 2007 as General Manager of North American Operations. Prior to joining Connected Energy, Mark held senior executive positions at Duquesne Light Company where he led teams in the engineering, design and construction of energy facilities and advanced communications systems to support electric utility operations. While at Duquesne Light, Mark took the lead in an early stage smart grid initiative to install and integrate advanced distribution line sensors to provide utility operations with near real time distribution operating information. Mark holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh as well as being a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School.
Terry Rohrer
CTO/CSO
Terry joined Connected Energy in 2009 and brings 30 years of experience leading engineering and marketing teams. Prior to joining Connected Energy, Terry founded Innovent Consulting, a small Business and Technology firm dedicated to help software and services companies launch new products. Clients included IBM/Sterling Commerce and Automation Control Technologies, Inc. Terry has held various leadership positions in IBM/Sterling Commerce and ABB, including VP Engineering and VP Strategic Planning. He has participated in IETF, EMA, EPRI, OpenADR and CommerceNet working groups and has presented for DISA, UCC and NWDA. Terry has a B.S. in Computer Science from DeVry University and is currently working on an MBA from Keller School of Managment with a focus on data analytics and finance.
David Stoll
SVP, Finance
David is a seasoned finance executive who brings 30 years of experience in financial operations and management in the technology and energy sectors. David joined Connected Energy in 2011 and oversees finance, HR, risk management and legal. Prior to joining Connected Energy, David held financial executive positions with Quantapoint, Inc., a provider of 3D facility modeling software and services primarily for energy and utility customers, where he was the CFO, and 8x8, Inc., a publicly-held provider of enterprise cloud communications solutions, where he was the CFO, VP Finance and Secretary and helped prepare the company for its IPO. Earlier in his career, David served as a Finance Manager for Maxtor Corporation and held various positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers. David holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University.
